Research Focus – My primary research area centers on utilizing breast MRI to examine background parenchymal enhancement (BPE). Specifically, we are exploring the quantitative characteristics of BPE across various levels of breast cancer lifetime risk. Additionally, our investigation extends to assessing the potential utility of quantitative BPE in predicting responses to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Research Interests – Medical Imaging, Breast MRI, Breast cancer

Background –  I completed my undergraduate studies in biomedical engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In the fall of 2018, I became a Ph.D. student in the Bioengineering Program at UCLA. Presently, my research is centered around the development of quantitative imaging methods aimed at enhancing the diagnosis and characterization of breast cancer.

Favorite thing about UCLA  Beautiful campus and kind lab mates.
