Research Interests – My research interests include developing quantitative MRI techniques to improve prediction, prevention, and prognostication for gastrointestinal and genitourinary imaging applications. My other interests include deep learning techniques for medical image segmentation and radiomic feature analysis for prostate lesions.

Background – I received my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering w/ a Mechanical Engineering emphasis at the University of Southern California. Following my undergraduate studies, I worked at City of Hope National Medical Center as a clinical research associate in the Diagnostic Radiology department before pursuing my M.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. I completed my thesis project on sequential learning for medical imaging classification under the supervision of Drs. Haris I. Sair and Craig Jones at the Radiology AI Lab (RAIL) in 2022. I have since joined UCLA's Physics and Biology in Medicine PhD program conducting research within Dr. Sung's lab group.

Favorite thing about UCLA  The campus has beautiful architecture throughout its many distinctive environments, making it quite enjoyable to explore despite being quite large. In fact, I enjoy exercising during my free time by going for runs in and around campus!
