Research – My research is focused on development and optimization of MRI/MRSI techniques. My current project involves using MR spectroscopic imaging to help analyze brain matter in HIV patients. Programs such as Statistical Parameter Mapping and CAT-12 are used to help analyze white and grey matter in HIV patients to get a better idea of where differences in brain matter are located in the brain.

Research Interests – MRI Image Reconstruction, Deep Learning in MRI, MR spectroscopic imaging,

Background –  In 2018, I graduated with 2 associate degrees from Norco College: Math & Science and Social & Behavioral Studies. Currently, I’m pursuing a B.S. in Bioengineering at UCLA.

Favorite thing about UCLA  The food and campus are some of my favorite things about UCLA. In addition, the excellent academic opportunities and great community of students and faculty at UCLA are also some of my favorite aspects about UCLA.
