Research – My undergraduate project was focused on creating a panoramic view of ocular fundus using MATLAB. My masters project, titled “Brain correlates for working memory development in early childhood” involved working with resting-state fMRI of infants ranging from 0-4 yrs. and finding a correlation between the 4yr Working Memory scores and their functional connectivity maps based on 9 BrainMap network maps. My current projects include pre-processing and segmentation of data from different MR techniques and analyzing the various quantification anomalies, consisting different organs starting with brain. My plan is to continue conducting research related detection and diagnosis of neurodegenerative/neurodevelopmental disorders, studying causes of various muscle impairment and unusual electrical activity in the brain and working towards developing new therapies, investigating intricacies of neural development and complex connectivity.

Research Interests – Imaging specially MR neuroimaging

Background –  I completed her Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India, in 2016. I worked as programmer analyst at a MNC on projects consisting of developing codes in Java and Angular 2/4. I finished my masters in 2020 in Magnetic Resonance in Medicine from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at the Biomedical Imaging Research Institute.

Favorite thing about UCLA  The campus is great with generous and outstanding scholastic researchers, opportunities. Surely a place to learn and grow.
