Dr. Joy's research focuses on the development and optimization of advanced MRI and MR spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) techniques. His interests include MR spectroscopic imaging, compressed sensing MRI, and MR image reconstruction, with an emphasis on enhancing image quality, acquisition speed, and diagnostic value through innovative algorithmic and hardware approaches.
