Dr. Haoxin Zheng received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UCLA, where he was co-advised by Professors Kyunghyun Sung and Fabien Scalzo. His research focused on developing deep-learning-based computer-aided diagnosis techniques, with a particular emphasis on classifying the aggressiveness of prostate cancer using multi-parametric MRI images. His work aimed to improve diagnostic accuracy and contribute to more effective clinical decision-making in prostate cancer care.
He is an alumni of the Sung lab.
