Ling Yu (Alex) Hung is a Ph.D. student at UCLA whose research focuses on the application of machine learning and computer vision techniques in medical image analysis. His current work includes developing inter-slice attention-based methods for prostate zonal segmentation and exploring uncertainty modeling in segmentation tasks. His broader research interests include deep learning for medical imaging, interpretability of deep learning models, and MRI image segmentation. He aims to enhance both the performance and transparency of AI systems in clinical imaging applications.

Ling Yu (Alex) Hung is a member of the Sung lab.
