
About
Dr. Miao received her M.D. in Radiology in 2015 and her Ph.D. in Radiology in 2022, both from China Medical University. She completed her residency training in the Department of Radiology at The First Hospital of China Medical University from 2015 to 2018. From 2020 to 2021, she conducted research as a visiting graduate researcher in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Since 2019, she has served as an attending doctor in the Department of Radiology at The First Hospital of China Medical University.
Her research focuses on medical imaging in prostate and pancreatic cancer, with an emphasis on advancing early detection, accurate diagnosis, and precise staging to improve patient outcomes. She also explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical imaging, leveraging machine learning to enhance tumor detection, classification, and predictions of individualized treatment responses and long-term survival. In addition, she is developing multimodal AI models that integrate imaging, pathology, and clinical data to serve as comprehensive decision-support tools, enabling a more personalized and precise approach to patient care.
