Dr. Fatemeh Zabihollahy received her Ph.D. and M.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carleton University in 2020 and 2016, respectively. Her doctoral work, which focused on deep learning and image analysis techniques for kidney and prostate cancer detection, classification, and segmentation, earned the university medal for outstanding graduate work at the doctoral level. Following her Ph.D., she joined Johns Hopkins University as a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Radiation Oncology, where she developed AI-based methods for real-time MR-guided gynecologic cancer radiation therapy. She joined UCLA in September 2021, where her research continued to focus on integrating AI into real-time image-guided therapy and medical image analysis.
