About
Dr. Ma earned her B.S. in Electronic Information Engineering from Dalian University of Technology and her Ph.D. in Physical Electronics from Xiamen University, where she studied under the supervision of Dr. Zhong Chen. From 2018 to 2020, she was a visiting student in Dr. Lucio Frydman’s lab at the Weizmann Institute of Science. She joined Dr. Anthony Christodoulou’s lab at UCLA in 2023.
Her current research focuses on developing motion-resolved, real-time MRI techniques, with an emphasis on real-time quantitative imaging of the heart and abdomen. She has previously worked on single-shot quantitative mapping methods and diffusion imaging in challenging acquisition environments.
