About
Dr. Ruiming Cao is a Research Scientist at the Chan Zuckerberg Imaging Institute and a former member of the Sung lab. He obtained his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, where he was advised by Prof. Laura Waller and partially supported by a Siebel Scholarship. During his doctoral studies, he was affiliated with the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) Lab. He previously interned at Google Research in 2021 and served as an Optical Scientist Intern at Meta Reality Labs Research in 2022.
Prior to his Ph.D., Ruiming earned both his M.S. and B.S. degrees from UCLA. He completed his M.S. in Computer Science in 2019 under the guidance of Prof. Kyung Hyun Sung and Prof. Fabien Scalzo, and his B.S. in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics while working with Prof. Song-Chun Zhu.
